Deep Water Culture System: The Root Spa is a deep water culture system. This 5-gallon bucket system is simple yet highly efficient in growing large plants. By pumping raw air into the nutrient solution, without the need for expensive and often troublesome air stones, it is cost-effective and ensures your plants thrive.

Efficient Design: The system features a water-tight seal to guarantee no leaks, an 8-inch bucket basket to hold your choice of growing medium, a multi-purpose air hose that delivers air from the pump to the bottom of the bucket, and an air pump to oxygenate your water to encourage root growth. It also includes a ½ inch grommet fitting, a ½ inch elbow fitting, and a ¼ inch black tubing.

Media Sold Separately: You can use your choice of hydroponic media with this system, such as clay pebbles, #4 perlite, rockwool mini cubes, coco chips, etc. As this is a hydroponic system, soil should be avoided to prevent potential contamination from dust, fungi, and bacteria.

NOTE: The setup of the multi-bucket Root Spa system is similar as that of the single-bucket system, with the main difference being that the multi-bucket system uses a multi-output air pump, while single-bucket systems use a dedicated air pump.
