Deep Water Culture System: The Root Spa is a deep water culture system. This 5 gallon bucket system is simple yet efficient in growing large plants. Pumping raw air into the nutrient solution, without the use of air stones, is not only cost-effective but also highly effective at providing the maximum oxygenation for your nutrient solution.

Efficient Design: The system includes a water-tight seal to prevent leaks, an 8" bucket basket to hold your preferred growing medium, a multi-purpose air hose that delivers air from the pump to the bottom of the bucket, an air pump to oxygenate your water and encourage root growth, a 0.5" grommet fitting, a 0.5" elbow fitting, and a 0.25" black tubing.

Choice of Growth Media: You can use your choice of hydroponic media, such as clay pebbles, #4 perlite, rockwool mini cubes, coco chips, etc. Avoid using soil as it may contain dust, fungi, and bacteria, which can contaminate a hydroponics system.
